CHICKEN BREAST PIZZA CRUST

Who doesn’t love pizza?? I do….especially when it’s low carb and gluten free….because it’s made with a ground chicken breast base! You have to see how easy this is to make and so flavorful! You will definitely not miss the dough nor the carbs!


Ingredients

  • Crust

  • 1 1/4lb raw ground chicken breast

  • 1/2 cup grated parmesan

  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano

  • 1 teaspoon dried rosemary

  • 1 teaspoon sage

  • pinch of pepper

  •  

  • Topping

  • ½ cup reduced calorie pizza sauce

  • 1/4 cup grated parmesan (optional)

  • 1/4 cup chopped basil

  • 1/2 cup feta cheese

  • 1 Roma Tomato sliced

  • 1 tbsp red pepper flakes


DIRECTIONS

Set oven to 450F.

Add the ingredients for the crust to a food processor or high-powered blender.  Pulse blend until mixed and minced.

Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or aluminum foil and add the pizza crust.  Mash it down to form a thin circle or a large rectangle, less than 1/4-inch thick.  Bake in the oven for 15 minutes, or until the edges have turned golden brown and the chicken has cooked through.

Add the ingredients for the topping

Bake in the oven until the cheese has melted, browned and bubbled, about 5-8 more  minutes.

Remove from the oven,  slice and enjoy! .
