OVEN MEATLOAF

Meatloaf has been one of my all time comfort foods! Not sure if it was from when my stepmom used to make it or just the satisfying goodness of all the flavors and of course the ketchup on top!! YUM!!!
Meatloaf is so easy and so versatile as you can use ground turkey, chicken or beef!!
Make this dish for your family and it will become a favorite in your house as well!
INGREDIENTS
1.5 pds lean ground turkey, or lean grass-fed ground beef
1 whole large egg
1/2 cup finely diced yellow onion
1/2 cup finely diced celery
1/4 cup unsweetened almond milk
1/2 cup uncooked (dry) old-fashioned rolled oats
1/4 tsp garlic powder
sea salt and pepper to taste (1/4-1/2 teaspoon each)
1.5 Tbsps regular mustard
1/4 cup no-sugar-added organic ketchup
DIRECTIONS
1. Preheat your oven to 350 degrees f.
2. Spray a 5×9 inch loaf pan.
3. In a large bowl, combine everything except for the mustard/ketchup.
4. Get your hands in there and get it all really well combined!
5. Place meatloaf in your sprayed 5×9 inch loaf pan.
6. In a separate small bowl, whisk mustard and ketchup together.
7. Spread mixture over the top of your meatloaf using a spoon.
8. Bake at 350 degrees f. for 1 hour, until cooked through.
Serve with a side of mixed veggies for a nice hearty meal!
