Prep Time: 10 min
Cook Time: 4-8 hours

What a great dish to make for a bbq or any type of event! Pair it with some tortilla chips for an appetizer or have it as a dinner with some tortillas, rice or lettuce wraps!

So many great flavors and top it with a little jalapeno for us spicy folks if you like!

INGREDIENTS

·       1.5 lb ground chicken breast

·       1 (16 oz) jar Salsa

·       1 tbsp Chili powder

·       1/2 tsp Garlic powder

·       1/2 tsp Onion powder

·       1/4 tsp Dried oregano

·       1/2 tsp Paprika

·       1 1/2 tsp Ground cumin

·       1 tsp Salt (or to taste)

·       1 tbsp of truvia

Top with Jalapenos

DIRECTIONS

Spray crockpot with cooking spray. Place everything for the Salsa verde chicken in the crockpot. Stir to combine everything and place cover on crockpot. Cook on high for 2-3 hours or on low for 6-8 hours, (cooking time will be on the higher side if you are starting with frozen chicken). Cook until chicken is fully cooked through, and is tender enough to shred easily. Remove chicken from crockpot and use two forks to shred the chicken. Return chicken to crockpot and stir in salsa mixture leftover in crockpot to combine.
